On 11 February 2021 Polskie LNG has been granted building permit for the third tank at the LNG Terminal in Świnoujście, Poland. The terminal’s third tank will have a capacity of 180,000 cubic meters – 20,000 cbm larger than the two existing tanks. This will increase the storage capacity to half a million cubic meters of LNG.
The construction of the new tank and the associated infrastructure will increase the terminal’s commercial capabilities and improve the flexibility of the entire facility.
