With 189 tanks installed and 86 plants built around the globe, TGE Gas Engineering GmbH is a global technology leader in the construction of plants for the storage of liquefied gases.
TGE's core business here is the construction of complete terminals, including loading and unloading stations for ships and trucks, as well as process units such as cooling and regasification or reliquefaction plants.   • Ensure the quality standard and efficacy of the department
  • Enforce department activities targeting for Value Engineering
  • Achieve improvement and standardisation of TGE Engineering jointly with the other Engineering Departments
  • Develop the competences and team work of the department members and project teams
  • Optimise the cost structure of the department ensuring the quality standards
  • Development, guidance and coaching of the staff in terms of soft and hard skills
  • Development of document templates and Engineering Guidelines
  • Budget and control of department costs aiming for cost optimisation
  • Strategic development of the department
  • Create and follow up department management plans and targets.

You are the key support for our joint success

Because you are/ have

  • Professional Engineer with Master/Diploma or doctorial (Dr.-Ing) degree in one major project related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within chemical / petrochemical plants preferably in the gas industry
  • Wide Industry knowledge
  • Experience in engineering of piping systems (experience in construction is appreciated)
  • Knowledge of national and international codes and standards and of equipment part of TGE’s portfolio
  • Excellent managerial, leadership and people management skills
  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of spoken and written of English language, (knowledge of German language is appreciated)
  • Highly open minded, experienced in working in international teams
  • Absolute readiness for worldwide business trips
