GRADUATE PROCESS ENGINEER (ALL)

HIT THE GAS WITH US WITH THE FOLLOWIN TASKS

The role will provide you with opportunities to train, grow and progress as an early-career process engineer. You will work on live projects within large international multidisciplinary project teams. This role is based in our Manchester Office.

  • Undertaking process engineering activities across all project phases: proposal, feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design and commissioning.
  • Develop and review process deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and materials balances, equipment specifications and control philosophies.
  • Perform process simulations and calculations using industry-standard software (e.g. UniSim, Pipenet) as well as TGE’s internal calculations tools.
  • Participate in formal design reviews, including HAZOP, LOPA, SIL and other risk assessment methodologies.
  • Interface with clients, vendors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical integrity and alignment with project goals.
  • Supporting business development activities, including proposal preparation, scope definition and estimating.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and regulations and TGE’s internal procedures.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in process engineering practices.
  • Work towards and achieve corporate membership of a relevant engineering institution (e.g. IChemE).
  • Undertake commissioning and startup on-site where required. This will involve international travel and secondment from time to time.

YOU ARE THE ONE FOR US, because you are/have

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering or related discipline, accredited by the IChemE.
  • Knowledge of the engineering thermodynamic fundamentals that underpin TGE’s business.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
    Willing and able to travel on business trips or secondments overseas when required.
  • Resident in the UK with the right to work.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure and prioritise, to deal with a variety of constantly changing tasks/targets.
  • This role requires an immediate start.
